“Make a Wish” KARMA YogaFest No. 11

This year was dedicated to our veterans in crisis, held on 11-11; Brian Reed presented a Yoga Nidra meditation at 11:11am for some divine yogic sleep. Kundalini and even the Wim Hof Method was featured with over 20 brave souls who opted to venture into the cold Lake Michigan waters after a breathing session!

“2020 Vision” KARMA YogaFest No. 10

Our original intent was to make the 2020 KYF the biggest and most ambitious to date…well, I guess hindsight is 2020! We still had the chance to facilitate a Trauma-Informed Yoga Certification, 108 Sun Sals, Robert Sturman presented his work to our group and Larry Underwood put together an amazing ceremony! Nothing can keep us down!

“Cloud Nine” KARMA YogaFest No. 9

The ninth annual YogaFest was a switch-up from previous years. We decided to keep it small and generate funds that will make 2020 (No. 10) the biggest year yet… Hindsight is 2020!

2018

“Infin8” KARMA YogaFest No. 8

YogaFest No. 8 was the first year we tried out the “River Collective” location and it proved to be a great spot for a smaller venue. It was wonderful having the paddleboards on location! A majority went to ARS Art Studio for Anna’s work with inner-city youth - helping them find a new outlet in art.

“S7even” KARMA YogaFest No. 7

We had a little mix-up with our, up to this point, normal spot at the Shadowland Pavilion in St. Joseph so we had to make do last minute at The Collective in the Arts District. It all worked out great though :) with awesome guest teachers like Steve Krojniewski, Deven Craham, and Brian Witten; this one was able to raise funds for local youth art programs through ARS and after-school programs.

2016

“KARMA” YogaFest No. 6

This is the first year we offered KARMA YogaFest! Adrienne decided, after $35,000+ raised and hundreds of kids impacted with art and new opportunities; it was time to adjust a new long-term goal. We knew someday there would be time to organize a much bigger and bolder event…that’s TEN! This was the most attended YF so far raising funds which went to reading programs, ARS youth programming.
